BSA Troop 2 meets every Monday evening of the regular school year at St. Michael's Church at the corner of San Felipe and Sage in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas
We have a Troop of 18 active Scouts, and have grown every year for the last three years.
An active schedule of an average of one campout per month keeps the Scouts both learning and advancing. Adult leadership is provided by three Eagle Scout Scoutmasters.
Troop 2 encourages all youth activities and we respect the conflicts which frequently occur between Scouts, academics and sports. With additional responsibility in the Troop comes the requirement for active membership, but the Scouts are requested to ensure their responsibilities are met by soliciting the help of friends in the Troop to assist in addressing these conflicts.

Visitors
The backpacking for April is still on, but we have not been able to get room at Enchanted Rock, even in the primitive areas. We are looking for alternatives. Please do NOT go out and buy back-packing equipment for this event unless you want to, as we will be catering for all who want to camp even if they do not have the back-packing equipment.
The plan is to leave Friday about 4:00PM from St. Michael's, returning Sunday 24th about midday
Energy Merit Badge
We will be scheduling two or three classes for those wishing to pursue their Energy Merit Badge before the summer break. Sign up through the troop2info e-mail below! We currently have five Scouts signed up for this badge.
Volunteer Hours
We will be volunteering at the Ronald McDonald house next month by cooking and serving meals. More details will be available over the next few weeks regarding opportunities and schedules.
TH Rogers PTO has a storage shed in need of cleaning. We will need volunteers for Saturday, May 7th from 8:30 to 10:30 to assist with this task. Sign up below!
